- Keep aside.
- Heat oil in a kadai.
- Mix besan, rice powder, salt and water in a bowl.
- Add the boiled slices.
- Deep fry and set aside.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add nigella seeds for seasoning.
- Now add turmeric powder, slit green chilli, mustard paste, salt, sugar and saute for 10 seconds on a low flame.
- Add 1/4 cup water and let it boil.
- Now add the fried slices and the slit green chilli.
- Sprinkle 1 tsp of mustard oil until gravy becomes thick.
- Serve it with steamed rice.
