- Fry in piping hot oil until golden brown (about 5-6 minutes).
- When you are through frying, let them all cool.
- Place all the ingredients for the syrup in a pot and boil for about 5 minutes.
- Dip the fingers, a few at a time, in the syrup and let them soak for 1-2 minutes.
- Sprinkle with almonds and serve in a platter.
