Once blended, taste the mix and add a tsp of fresh lemon zest, and salt and more lemon juice to taste. Serve topped with some freshly ground rock salt, coriander sprigs and a drizzle of lemon juice.
Top with the fried aromatics and fresh coriander, and serve. Hummus is traditionally served with flatbread such as Pita or as a part of meze. It is also served as an accompaniment to falafel. You can also eat hummus with some tortilla chips & salsa, instead of the guacamole/sour cream on the side. Add a whole new layer of flavour to your homemade hummus dip with the addition of zesty lemon, fresh coriander and red chilli to your recipe.
