- Wash and peel cocoyam. Put in a pot, add water and boil until thoroughly cooked. Remove from water and pound to paste in a mortar or process in a blender. Set aside
- Boil goat meat in pot till tender. Add smoked, dried fish and stock fish. Add seasoning cube, salt, crayfish, pepper and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Add pounded cocoyam and palm oil. Stir well to dissolve cocoyam paste. Simmer for another 5 minutes. You can add more water if it is too thick.
- Add your periwinkle and washed bitterleaf. Simmer for another 5 minutes. Taste and adjust for seasoning.
- Your soup is ready. Serve with your choice of swallow, pounded yam, semovita, wheat, eBay.
