- Once the sausage is fully cooked (do not drain the grease) add the flour and stir around. Cook this for 1-2 minutes.
- Slowly at the milk and stir to combine. Cook over medium/high heat and bring to a simmer stirring occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste. Once it starts to simmer reduce heat to low. Continue to cook a couple more minutes until it has thickened.
