- Prepare 1 cup Long Grain Basmati Rice

- Wash and drain basmati rice.
- Wash, peel off and grate Carrot.
- Heat ghee in pressure cooker and put green cardamom.
- Add rice and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add grated carrot and mix well.
- Add 1 and 1/2 cup water in cooker, close the lid and cook for 1 whistle.
- In a pan take sugar and 1/2 cup water.
- Make sugar syrup and add raisins and orange food colour.
- After cooling open the lid of cooker and add sugar syrup.
- Mix well, close the lid again and cook for another whistle.
- Switch off the flame and after cooling garnish zarda pulao with dry fruits and tutti fruitti.
